A retro trim built on real hardware

It would be easy for a “heritage” trim to be styling-only — a few badges and a paint scheme over a standard truck. That is not what Ford did here. Heritage Edition is built on the Big Bend equipment floor but comes standard with the Sasquatch Package (35-inch tires, locking differentials, Bilstein dampers) and the Mid Package, both of which are optional or unavailable on trims priced lower. The styling side is genuine too: an Oxford White-painted hard top over the body color, heritage bodyside graphics referencing the original Bronco design language, front steel bash plates, plaid cloth seats, and a unique Heritage Edition console badge. It is less a paint-and-badge special edition and more a curated, pre-configured build that happens to also look distinct.

What “standard Sasquatch” actually saves

On Base or Big Bend, adding the Sasquatch Package pushes the final price up meaningfully over the advertised starting number for the trim. Heritage Edition folds that cost into its $51,625 MSRP from the start, which makes direct trim-to-trim price comparisons a little misleading unless the comparison also includes Sasquatch on the other trim. For a buyer who already knows they want the 35-inch tires and locking differentials, the Heritage Edition premium over a Sasquatch-equipped Big Bend narrows considerably once retro styling and the Mid Package are factored in.

Engine choices

Heritage Edition ships standard with the 2.3L EcoBoost (300 hp/325 lb-ft on premium fuel) paired with the 10-speed automatic — no manual transmission option here, since the 7-speed manual is limited to Base and Badlands. The 2.7L EcoBoost V6 (330 hp/415 lb-ft on premium) is available as an upgrade, the same engine offered on Outer Banks and standard on Stroppe Edition, for buyers who want more low-end torque without leaving the retro-styled trim.

Who buys Heritage Edition in Lakeland

Buyers with a genuine connection to the original Bronco look — whether nostalgia, aesthetic preference, or simply wanting a Bronco that does not look like every other four-door on the lot — combined with a want for real off-road hardware without configuring it themselves.
