Finished in Jet Black Mica with a gray interior, it features all-wheel drive and is powered by a SKYACTIV®-G 2.5L 4-Cylinder DOHC 16V engine paired to an automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel efficiency is 24 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, making it a strong choice for those who prioritize both performance and efficiency.

This SUV is well-suited for drivers seeking a balance of comfort, technology, and utility. The interior offers amenities such as heated front bucket seats, dual-zone automatic temperature control, and a leather steering wheel, supporting comfort in varied climates. Real-world performance is defined by the pairing of its 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. This setup delivers smooth acceleration and steady power delivery, whether navigating busy city streets or open highways. The front wheel independent suspension, speed-sensing steering, and electronic stability control contribute to confident handling and a composed ride, while the brake assist and four-wheel disc brakes support controlled stops.

Safety is a priority with features engineered for everyday protection. The SUV is equipped with ABS brakes for reliable stopping, dual front and side impact airbags, overhead and knee airbags, and electronic stability control to help maintain directional control. The rearview camera aids visibility while reversing, and auto high-beam headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and a tire pressure monitoring system further enhance safety in changing road and weather conditions. The MAZDA CONNECT emergency communication system ensures help is accessible if needed.

The CX-50’s feature set focuses on convenience and connectivity. It includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone integration, an AM/FM/HD audio system with eight speakers for quality sound, and steering wheel mounted audio controls for easy access.
